Squating into the season

Mauro ran his first trail race this past weekend.  It was more of a shake down race to get ready for the more important races later.  He was able to test the strength and power work that he has been working on with us the past 3 months.  Even without pushing 100%, he was able to place fourth is his division.  Mauro has done a great job of following our plan, and doing the hard and heavy work to build his base.  The broader the base, the taller the pyramid.

Plank

Often ignored, plank is one of the best “core” or midline stabilization exercises you can do.  Plank (and all it’s variations) are practiced here often.
